One of the most common pathogens in our gardens is the fungi Armillaria. It essentially feeds on logs, but is able to colonize through contact with roots and various plants species, coniferous and broad-leaved, killing its host.

Mycorrhizae, beneficial fungi for plants, help and reinforce trees, while Trichoderma acts as opposing fungi of the Armillaria and destroys it.
